The animator of British cartoons has died aged 91.
He did animations for Roobarb and Henry's Cat.

I think 'coincidental' is the appropriate word, Ruddles, rather than 'ironic' which is a word overused and misunderstood, like 'literally'.

As with many of the names featured in this area of the forum you'll find tributes on the weekly Radio 4 programme Last Word. This week's edition included Bob Godfrey. Many old editions are available to listen again.
