Nothing specific planned here either. I think much will depend upon the current unspring-like weather. Which is reminding me of the cold spring of 1975. This was the year when it snowed in places at the beginning of June! As can be seen here: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/media/pdf/6/p/Snow_in_June_-_2_June_1975.pdf There, then followed quite a hot summer (though not quite as hot as the following year's legendry summer) I wonder if we'll be treated to a half-decent summer this year! I think we all deserve one!

I remember that year very well LEE and I came back from honeymoon to find snow and that was the beginning of June!

We had hoped to go to the NE to get a couple of plants from my Mum's garden as she is moving but the ground is too solid to dig up anything so we'll be staying down here. My husband's birthday tomorrow and we're going to a family dinner at a friend's on Sunday. Her 2 kids are home, one from Uni and the older one from Paris where he's been working for 6 months so will be good to see them all.

Maybe I'll do some long overdue 'de cluttering' if there is time!

Just got home from a two-week nightmare holiday in which nothing went to plan, I was supposed to be going to Northumberland on my own for a third week but have decided to stay at home instead. I'm zausted... taking a fussy-eating 91 year old to France then Cornwall was a mistake. "I don't like travelling" she said, when we were half way there, no mention of this phobia in the weeks she had to prepare fir the holiday.. Apparently there was nothing she liked anywhere in France and that was my fault because I should have known that she doesnt like anything with onions, chives, carrots, parsnips, garlic and/or leeks in it.. oh and mushrooms and all shellfish and beef, and anything with artificial sweetner or too much salt or indeed anything that looked or tasted suspicious or like it might have any of the aforementioned items (the list is not exhaustive).....have a nice Easter everyone..I have a cream egg in the fridge ready for Sunday....

I hope you enjoy the cream egg Rachel. It's the least you deserve!
