Wow.
The biggest crime in this programme was the script.
What a shame.... I like the Creek concept so much: it has such great possibilities, but this was just appalling. I felt sorry for the cast, who at times looked embarrassed. I wouldn't have thought the format could stand too much more of this treatment, indeed if it is not already dead in the water.
Someone needs to review the script with something more discerning than Spellchecker.

Anyone else watch it?

No I didn't watch it even though I set the recorder. I decided to delete it as I was running desperately short of space to record things over this weekend so it drew the short straw and went

Sounds like I made the right decision from you comments!

Ah, Jonathan Creek sadly a pale shadow of it's former self ...I love the character and think it's a great shame that it has been allowed to die on it's feet with such awful scripts.....I wonder if David Renwick still writes it or has he farmed it out as happens sometimes ....don't think I'd bother to watch if they make another special... Sad

I quite enjoyed it, although it all unraveled in the last 15 minutes, becoming ludicrous and unnecessarily convoluted.

There's a series being made later this year so I hope the structure goes back to being a bit more elegant.

Very disappointing and not a patch on the old episodes.
His lady assistant was intensely annoying, to the point where I had to mute her a couple of times. Embarassed Much preferred Caroline Quentin.
