A number of explosion has hit the Boston Marathon which have killed and critically wounded a number of people.

My thoughts are with those people have been caught up in this terrible act.

It's a crazy world we live in where a marathon is the target for bombers.As always this violence will achieve nothing but ruin people's lives.

What's even more sad and shocking is that most of the runners were doing so to raise money for various charities - who in their right mind could carry out such a despicable act in those circumstances? Sad
