Is anyone else tired of this already?
It's a well known fact that people prefer the normal stuff rather than special 'this and that', even on Bank Holidays

I think it's a good idea for a theme, but has so obviously been hastily cobbled together to plug a Saturday night TV show that it's just gimmicky and annoying. |

They keep saying it's tied in to the return of the TV Voice, but that started 2 weeks ago.......

It's because ITV have aggressively scheduled Britain's Got Talent against The Voice, so it's to keep the hype up in the face of big competition. Last year both shows went out at different times and both did well, but this year ITV have decided to bring BGT earlier just out of pettiness. |

So believe!
The only thing I have enjoyed has been the resurrection of Mystery Voice on Drivetime, although they could have made more of it I think.
Apparently Simon Mayo's mother was a producer for John Dunn during part of his time on Drivetime, keeping it in the family I suppose!

Voice week has been very good. From Alex Lester doing his very best to make early X Factor auditionees sound good by comparisona , to Jezza Vine's huge Voice party on Friday following days of attempted accents and other voice related problems and pitfalls. It was very demonstrative of the whole point of voice week that Chris Evans lost his voice for a few days so couldn't do his show. BZ to Vassos for filling at zero notice on the first day.
Voice: without it, some people are totally disabled because from the listeners' stand point that is all people on the radio are, just a voice in a box.
(Back from Northumberland : had a fab time. It's really quick on a plane, I may never drive anywhere ever again, well, maybe to an airport.) |

I enjoyed the meeting of voice over artists on the JV Show last Friday but other than that I thought it was pretty much a non event _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |
