He was one of the stars of "Hi-De-Hi" - a daft programme which I always enjoyed. "Oh Dr Beeching" and "You Rang, M'Lord?" were two other memorable programmes he was in. |

I heard Su Pollard talking,with great fondness,about Paul Shane on the radio this morning, recalling how her and Paul used to be banished off the set of Hi-Di-Hi for laughing too much when reading through the scripts.

A fine actor, Hi-De-Hi was one of those classic comedies that I will always remember and enjoy.
There seemed to be good chemistry between the whole cast which was great to see. |
