A massive Tornado stretching mile and half long has ripped through the town of Oklahoma in the US. It's so far has killed 91 people. This is Tornado season in the states.

Death toll is now said to be much lower, still a tragedy.

Although the area is called Tornado Valley, such things are still rare, said a US reporter this morning. Yeah well, that's like saying earthquakes are rare in Los Angeles but YOU KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO HAPPEN.....

..... yet Oklahoma homes are still made out of matchsticks!

Here is Warwickshire the worst winds we get are about 60 mph gusts yet our house is double wall brick. Might lose our roof in a tornado but we'd likely survive sitting in our downstairs hallway

The winds reached 200mph is this tragedy.

No building would be left standing/survive even if brick built.

Well Mark, there's brick buildings still standing in Moore though maybe not in the main path
