This Poll is absolute disgusting. The BBC should have thought about this. It was done about 3 + months ago too and just been released. |

What is disgusting about it Mark?
It's an opinion poll just like many others necessarily based on a relatively small sample of responders but is probably at least as accurate as many others we hear about on a regular basis
Perhaps our young people have learned something from the dreadful mistakes made by people of my generation when it comes to allowing our country to become a dumping ground for large and uncontrollable groups of people who have little or nothing in common with our culture and who have no wish to espouse it

I agree Ruddles, I fail to see what is 'disgusting' about this poll. Most of these polls are rubbish anyway, if indeed they even take place.
Mark, it means that 3 out of 4 youngsters DO trust Muslims. Surely that's good. If you were to poll people aged 60 and above, I suspect the number of those who distrust Muslims would be a lot higher than the 18-24 year olds. |

Mark, I agree with the others. It's hardly surprising that most Brits have a negative image of Muslims. Look at Iraq, most of the deaths there have been Muslim bombing other Muslims.
And who carries out most of the atrocities against innocent civilians in Pakistan, Somalia, Kenya, Nigeria, and have committed dreadful murders in UK and USA?
Kinda difficult to not have a negative image of Muslims and to wonder if it's a good idea to have a million of them in Britain. I'm not racist, just nervous.
