That's a shame Rach but look on the bright side - at least you've got all the gear for the next time and if it was as good as you obviously feel then you'd probably want to repeat the experience again with or without preserving the record for posterity
I trust you imposed on your other half a suitable punishment of at least 100 lines making him write out

| Yesterday my son Kayaked from Dubvovnik Old Town to the island of Lokrum, which he found very hard going indeed. He's glad he didn't use a Lippy or GoPro cam because it wouldn't have been very entertaining, he told me last night. He's a physically fit bloke but he was exhausted afterwards. |

What she originally posted was really interesting and I can't see why she would possibly wish to delete it
I really hope she's OK and that none of the comments on here have caused her a problem

Might be more down to her other half I would suspect
Perhaps he didn't like the fact that she'd posted on here about a subject which he might prefer she hadn't but if that's the case I suspect it will be only temporary and that she'll be back sooner rather than later - I hope so because it's really silly for people to get wound up over something so trivial in the context of life generally
