A timeline of events to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has sufficiently changed according to British detectives who are working on the case. An E Fit of a man who was in the area at the time has been released and a Crimewatch appeal on Monday 14th October will focus of a reconstruction of events of the night.

We all understand that the McCanns did leave her asleep whilst having dinner. Answers need to be made, that family have to live with what they did for the rest of their lives, but this little girl deserves to be found, and some sort of closure given. |

I'm not sure that this will have much impact being shown over here as it was in Portugal where the abduction took place. Why waste licence payer's money in the hope that a handful of people who were there will remember something 6+ years on?

And why on earth did SW waste our time talking about something which we can watch for ourselves in less than half an hour
Can anyone explain why they would have a police officer on there talking about things caught on CCTV when as far as I'm aware there's no facility for us to see whatever he is banging on about on radio _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I pray for a good resolution to this tragic story but if little Madeleine is still alive I can't help but wonder what she has been through in her short life....too heartbreaking to dwell on. |

It is worrying that the Portuguese Police didn't investigate numerous burglars in the area which was mentioned in the appeal. Also the suspect which was seen carrying a child has been eliminated. |

Yes, I agree, Becky. I believe the Crime Watch programme is being shown in Germany and the Netherlands as it seems that most of the holidaymakers who were there at the time of the kidnapping were from those countries.
Little Madeleine had an unusual fault in her right eye and I can't imagine that it would not have been noticed by someone if she was still alive. However, if it had been my child who had been snatched, I would be as persistent as the McCanns in finding out for sure what had happened and who was responsible.
Unimaginably awful situation to be in. |
