Why does he need to edit it?

Personally having never seen any of the fast & furious films I don't know who he was either.
It seems though he was held in high regard by his fellow actors.

Oh I see, so we all need to be spelling geniuses before we can post here.

Sorry Toggy, it was meant as a joke - a gentle reminder to check spelling of a subject line before hitting "Submit". All gone now.

I get the impression that Mark doesn't need to know who the person is. He sees a headline somewhere and dashes over here to post a link!

A great shame that a stray "n" didn't find it's way there, but I quite like Waker...perfect for a shouty beakfast show presenter.

I'd never heard of him, either. I read that Vin Diesel was in the same films, too. I thought that was the cheap plonk that Morrisons sells.

I do know who the person was and watched the films. Thank you.

Take no notice Mark, some people think they are big and clever when they belittle people but they are not.

Toggy, I think you're being a bit harsh in this respect. There's no "thinking they're big" about it.

But it makes you feel Superior in your perfectly spelt and grammatically correct universe.

It has nothing to do with spelling or being superior. All I did was suggest to Mark that he check the spelling of the surname before hitting "Submit". He spelled it properly in the main body. It was made in good jest and not intended to be "superior" as you state.

Still, if that's how you wish to see it......

So someone bringing up a man's premature and violent death is a cue to have a go at someone's spelling? Stop being an arse, Colin.

Quite often Mark cuts'n'pastes the body of his news messages, and then spells the header wrong. He 's been doing so for years.... and I've been correcting his headers for years, and so with this one Very Happy

I'm with Colin, just giving Mark a bit of friendly advice, regarding checking spelling before hitting send, is OK. The fact that Mark ignores it, well that's up to him, but some of us find that irritating. Miss-spelt headers irritate me, that's why I sort them Confused

Thank you John. My (now self-deleted) comment about the obvious inconsistency was made merely to serve as a gentle "nudge". It was in good jest and with no other motive. However, I did apologise to Mark in the event that he had taken it the wrong way.
