One of my favourite years today 1972.
I was in the last year of Secondary school.
These songs just bring it all back.
Great memories and great pop songs..Al Green,The Sweet and more!!!!!

Good show as far as it went but even with an extra 30 minutes they still missed out some of the Top 20 discs.

For me, Nilsson's Without You and Al Green's Let's Stay Together were the cherries in yesterday's fruit bowl.

1980 next Sunday.

Yes, they did miss out some of the top 20 but it seems they used the extra ½ hour to extend the album coverage, which I think is a good idea so long as they don't fall into the trap of just sticking to the singles or the well known tracks. I think it would be good to give the other unknown tracks an airing.

Yes - so it was a pity they played the same old Todd Rundgren song that Radio 2 play every other day anyway.
