I listened to the first episode of this fantasy serial by Neil Gaiman on Radio4 on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has a great cast in James McAvoy, Christopher Lee, Bernard Cribbins, Benedict Cumberbatch etc.
The hero (James McAvoy) performs an act of kindness but finds himself in a mysterious land below London peopled by odd characters e.g. Old Bailey (Cribbins) and The Angel of Islington (Cumberbatch).
A good listen. |

| This serial is to be repeated starting (not very conveniently!) at 11pm on Christmas Day. I really enjoyed it first time around and hope to manage the repeat. |
