'Hundreds of coastal areas and other inland areas with lakes etc are on a brink of being flooded again. Defences are holding up in some areas, but building wall defences higher than your front windows - people don't want that. flood defences can only hold off so much water as it will eventually seep through. Flood line defences are not being compromised so say the Government, but the environment agency are saying forced job cuts are happening with lack of funding'. It does seem challenging times as weather is changing year on year.

If you look at some of the 'hedges', fences etc that I see on my deliveries, it seems to disprove that assertion, sadly. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |
