I wasn't really bothered about watching this film but when it was on a while ago I recorded it to have a peek later.

I ended up watching it all,not for the story but because I was mesmerised by Meryl Streep's performance in it.

She was superb! No wonder that she won an Oscar for it.

I enjoyed it too but there were some annoying errors if I recall. Especially her wearing a hat in the House of Commons!!! How could they get THAT so wrong?

Michael Foot is also portrayed as an opponent of the Falklands War which he certainly was not.
