Future of some of the Royal Household could be in doubt as some are in disrepair. Boilers at Buckingham Palace are 60 Years old and needs to be upgraded at a cost of £50 Million. Last year the Queen was given £31 Million and they spent £33 Million and had to use over £2 Million of their surplus. A committee report said " The Queen needs to be much better looked after" and considering Buckingham Palace could be opened more to the public, but wouldn't that produce more mounting running cost keeping them open or using the buildings for other things?
