Did anyone watch "Piers Morgan Life Stories" on Friday 7th Feb 14 which featured Tony Blackburn? I know it can be hard to watch the show as it's presented by Piers, but it was very interesting. I can't believe Tony has done 13,000 programmes. Such a lovely bloke he is.

Much as I detest the interviewer I did intend to watch it but got side tracked as often happens on Friday evenings - I'm fairly sure it will be shown again fairly soon so I'll look forward to that - I'm sure it was an interesting interview Smile

Has anyone ever admitted to liking Piers Morgan? I don't, either like him or know anyone who does.

Piers Morgan is indeed an obnoxious, vain, shallow little creep, but I did enjoy the Tony Blackburn interview.

What I hate about these shows (aprt from the smug host) is the way they're edited. I thought I might watch the Blackburn one but in the end I decided I couldn't be bothered.

You hit the nail on the head there Colin with your comment about editing

The way a piece is edited can completely change the public perception of any given situation and such tactics are regularly employed by the media often to make certain individuals or situations look bad whereas if the public was allowed to see the full interview in proper context they almost certainly would form a very different view

It's part of the way people can be brainwashed in our so called democratic society - the lesson is of course if you've got something to say insist on doing it on live TV which the broadcasters absolutely hate Smile

I think they run extended versions on ITV2, but the idea of any more screentime for Moron stops me looking too deeply.

I couldn't watch Piers Morgan under any circumstances, no matter who was in the opposite chair. I was hoping he'd be implicated in the phone hacking scandal, but it seems the creep is bulletproof.

Well, there's hope for us yet, Raver, because it was revealed yesterday that he was interviewed by police last December about alleged phone hacking during his time as Daily Mirror editor.
