I'm Neufchâtel Cool

"A traditional soft, white table cheese from Normandy in France. Neufchâtel smells and tastes of mushrooms Confused . It has a dry, velvety rind, and a grainy texture. When mature, Neufchâtel develops a bitter, slaty, acrid taste."

Edam - hard and Dutch (well, one out of two wasn't bad!) Very Happy

(This thread is beginning to sound like Monty Python's "Cheese Shop" sketch - all we need is the music in the background!)

This is the description of 'my cheese':-
'Boursin is a soft, fresh cheese, first made by Monsieur Boursin in 1957. It has a rich, sweet flavour with a hint of acidity, and is flavoured with garlic, herbs or pepper.'

Mine is Oszczpek, a very old Polish smoked cheese made from unpasteurised sheeps milk with a distintive slightly salty taste! I'm a blue Stilton man myself.
