Many will remember Hubert Gregg's long-running show Thanks for the Memory. This is a link to a recent blog post about Hubert with audio from two programmes plus I Call It Style on Harry Warren and the tribute programme presented by David Jacobs.

Wow, Andy, this is all fascinating stuff! I used to listen to Hubert Gregg in my late teenage years as I always had an interest in popular music from before my time (as well as keeping up with the current pop music, thus absorbing a vast array of different styles).

Thanks very much. I shall give it a listen when I have time.
