Jeremy Paxman has decided to step down as presenter of Newsnight. The BBC were told last July. Nick Ferrari could take over?

So at last Paxo has told the BBC to get stuffed Laughing

He's a character with a forceful personality in the Robin Day mould so in a way it will be sad to lose him

Lets hope we get a decent replacement - can't someone persuade Jeremy Vine to return so that we can have Paddy permanently at lunchtimes on Radio 2 Very Happy
