....are in the medals again today at the Commonwealth Games. They were part of the quartet, alongside Vicky Holland and Jodie Stimpson, that won the gold medal in the new Mixed team relay triathlon event
It is hoped it will feature in Rio
Vicky Holland, speaking to BBC One: "I hope this event is included in the Olympic in the future. Just look at the atmosphere it generates, to have this tight racing circuit, where the lead changes so often, it is a great spectator event and having girls and guys involved makes it unique." |

That was wonderful wasn't it Becky. Thanks for the great photo. I also watched GB beating China in the badminton men's doubles to win Bronze. |

It is a great picture isn't it,Eileen.
They have just been interviewed on the TV and that's me going to bed with a smile on my face.
There have been so many wonderful performances from our athletes and the Lottery funding has been mentioned a few times. I don't buy Lottery tickets but I will start buying one every month or so just to pay back a little for the enjoyment that the athletes have given me personally and if I win it will be a bonus. |

I haven't watched much of the olympics apart from on news and programmes before and after but Team GB have done so well.
It seems that lottery funding has paid off, maybe they should increase it rather than give it to some of the other schemes?
