Does anyone believe James Cameron's claims to have found the tomb of Jesus? I fing it highly unlikely to be true

It assumes that you believe in the existence of Jesus (as we're led to believe) in the first place, of course.

You can believe in the existence of the man, without believing he was the son of God.

I don't even believe in the existence of the man, to be honest, although I'm quite taken with the theory that such a person might have been an Arab!

You are right ernie, I think that there is too much documentation, across several religions, for him not to have existed. It is a matter of personal belief as to whether he was the son of God, each to their own belief on this subject, IMHO.

"Life of Brian" Question

One of our local churches was apparently showing that film recently as part of a festival week. How times have changed since its release....

There were loads of preachers who claimed to be the Messiah in Roman times. Most of them are long forgotten but for some reason Jesus got famous. I think Alistair Campbell must have been the 13th disciple.
