It just goes to show that 'Yes Minister' had it exactly right when Jim Hacker commented that if someone denies being interested in a particular position then it proves they're definitely interested

Boris has denied any desire to return to the Commons for several years but hey Cameron's in a spot of trouble at present and if UKIP steal enough Tory votes to deny Cameron a majority then whose going to be waiting in the wings?

The only current politician who can apparently get away with anything and turn even the most disastrous situations to his advantage Smile

Watching BBC East television earlier, there are reports that he's eyeing up the Cambridgeshire South seat, which is a relatively safe Tory stronghold.

I've no doubt that he attract many votes - not because of policies (does he have any?) but because he's bumbling Boris, a bit of an English eccentric.

I despair that this muppet made it as Mayor of London let alone as an mp
God help us if he does become pm

I couldn't see him on the big political stage if everyone predicting him too be the next prime minister. First he needs to.find a seat and he'll only be on the backbench unless the parachute him onto the front Benches, excuse the pun.

If Gordon Brown, Tony Blair, John Prescott, Nick Clegg (gag-urggh) or Theresa May can reach the upper echelons, then why not Boris ??

I think that is an act! I reckon he is as nasty as the rest of that shower, hence Eddie Mair once asking him if he's a nasty piece of work when he had him on his show.
