According to Digiguide listings a mysterious 'guest presenter' will be sitting in for Mark Radcliffe the week beginning monday march 5.I wonder who it could be.Incidentally the same week Pete Mitchell is sitting in for Alex while he takes a break, and Johnnie Walker sits in for Terry for a 2nd week.

Maybe Paul Merton will sit in again for Mark Radcliffe?

More snore than scream. Pete Mitchell is the ultimate insomnia cure.

Why would it not be Richard.

He hosted this show brilliantly before Radcliffe was a twinkle in Lesley Douglas' eyes.

I suspect your right though as Richard is going to take over from Terry Wogan soon with an all new breakfast show.

I must say I admire your optimism.
He will be extremely busy hosting four shows from four different locations though.

I thought he wanted to have a rest after being ditched off the saturday show. Or was that him saying it too keep the truth away?

I would be very surprised if he did take over breakfast from Terry.

......and what truth would that be Mark.

Ernie-Not quite with you here. Richard works out of Gerrards Cross for his daily BFBS show and out of Oxford for both his weekend shows.

If/once Richard secures the breakfast show on Radio 2 then I am sure there will be a rebalancing of his workload-perhaps he might have to finish with the weekend work. I doubt he will cease working for BFBS-if for no other reason he likes the music freedom he enjoys/is given with these guys.

Mine too, perhaps Allinson will get the drivetime slot when Evans vacates but given he's been removed from the radio 2 website I think it's unlikely.

Ok if its not Allinson it will be Rusell Brand on drivetime! Not even me would be up for that.

I dont think Brand would enjoy the 5am starts. Although I would love to see Lynn Bowels handle his comments on the travel bulletins Laughing

I could see Mark Radcliffe moving from his late show to another slot. Stuart Maconnie could take over?

I bet that's not all she handles *nudge nudge wink wink*

Anyway... If Russell Brand sits in for Mark Radcliffe I think we can take it as read he's going to get a more high-profile slot somewhere soon.

Actually I'm not even sure if he's stil meant to be off next week or not because he hasnt mentioned being off,-however Mark Radcliffe is sitting in for Steve Wright starting on monday week and Tom Robinson is scheduled to sit in for Mark that week so maybe he will be sitting in for him next week as well.
