I would like to say Hi, hello, bonjour, guten tag and so forth to all of the posters on R2OK. My name is treasure (cos that's what my boss calls me) and I am happy to chat about anything except football.
I'm a working single mum with a grown up family. On my profile I say that I'm interested in everything (footie being the only exception) I like to read and listen to music and when the weather is good I enjoy walking in the country. I'm lucky enough to live in easy reach of some terrific places.

I look forward to conversation, debate and banter... Smile

By walking I would like to point out that I mean a leisurely meander...nothing strenuous.. Smile Don't do strenuous I find it all too frequently results in injury... Rolling Eyes

Hello Treasure, Very Happy
If you hate everything to do with football, that'll be fine by me!
My ex Boss used to call me "Old Boy", even though I was half his age! Shocked mind you, he was ex RAF.

Hi, may I call you Ian?

I do watch from the sidelines sometimes. Usually when I'm tired and don't feel that I have anything useful to contribute.

Nothing wrong with that, as long as you're getting out and about and enjoying the walk, then it's just as good. Smile

And as for having nothing useful to contribute, well it's never stopped me in the past....

Hello to you BGW nothing like a good natter. I've never had my own thread before so the fact that you guys have taken the trouble to come here to welcome me is great. I thank you all.

If there was a smiley for a hug I would add it to my post...consider yourselves hugged.

Everyone's allowed at least one thread about them in here, Treasure, we're a friendly bunch, as you've no doubt already discovered. Pop over to the Coffee Bar and start playing the word games with the rest of us.... the more, the merrier. Very Happy

Getting down to the Pub would be a better idea. But....... where is the R2OK Pub? Mine's a large G&T, darlings.

To you Ella and the others that are being so friendly...have a drink on me at the virtual bar. I'm on South African red but your wish is my command. The bar is now open for refreshments...alcoholic or otherwise. What better way to end the week. The first rounds on me...lets party. Do we have a jukebox?

No jukebox, I think, but I can get Mr. Sailyour to play on his spoons.

On second thoughts.......................
