I think that could be wrong time as Magic 80's is on at 7 on a Friday and Nick used to present 5-8 Monday to Thursday and 5-7 on a Friday. Must be BST instead of GMT where you got the info from.

I be tuning in.

Yes nice to have him on the radio. He could pull a few listeners over with him from Radio 2 and hit Simon Mayo Drivetime.

An excellent first week's work under his belt.

Sounds as though he really is enjoying this slort-style suited wonderfully to the Drive Time Show.

More of the same going forward please.

Had a great note from RA recently.

He is working on putting his own touch to the drive time show with some new features etc.

We are now a few weeks into Richard's stint on the Drivetime show on Magic radio.

Have to say he seems to settled in really well, the music being played is just fabulous, he's clearly put on his own footprint on this slot with some great features and also it seems to me he is talking more now than when he first started. Have the boss's realised what a great DJ Richard is.

He seems very happy at Magic and his twitter account also reflects this as well.

Can't see him returning to BBC Radio 2 anytime soon.

….plus the stress busters, play-out song choice and the daily quiz-when the winner was on Richard's show recently having won the £2k prize, Richard seemed as excited as the winner herself.

Yes a great all around show.

I would expect Richard and Nick will be in there positions for a little longer. Neil Fox has been charged with 3 further allegations and bailed until March 2015.

Hopefully Richard will stay on the Drivetime show for the next few months and then hopefully get a permanent slot in the schedules.

He's back on Radio 2 breakfast over the festive period. Guessing as Magic festive schedules are different and he was only helping them out. As things have changed possibly help them again in 2015.

Neil Fox has been bailed and not charged. Until proven we shouldn't speculate.

Monday 5th Magic goes National and Richard continues with Drivetime. There was no indication on his last festive breakfast he's not going to continue at Radio 2.

What a professional.

Richard's father passed away last Tuesday and he still presented the Drive Time Show the same day.

Yes I thought he did really well Mark. I even got a mention and the night before as well!

I've really enjoyed the music he's played. I think I heard him say he's doing breakfast tomorrow morning.

I read it on Twitter on the day Mark O.

I caught the last hour of breakfast and it took me back to Radio Oxford Sunday mornings Very Happy. Don't know if this is a regular stint or just a one off but it made me realise that I do need a better breakfast show for weekdays.

It seemed a one off as Justin Wilkes usually does Weekend breakfast who is on Kiss during the week. I know what Magic are doing as Richard is well known national voice have him covering some key shows as well as his normal weekday drivetime show. A lot of Bauer and Global presenters work 6 days Nick Snaith is doing Magic in mornings also presents a show on Saturday as well as Angie Greaves who does weekday afternoons.

As pointed out by a poster on Digital Spy today it looks as though Richard has been given the Breakfast Show on Magic on a Sunday on a perm basis-they have updated their website accordingly.

The show goes out from 6-10am.

That's good as I enjoyed listening to him last Sunday morning, not that I'll hear all of it by any means!

The only problem with Magic (and others) is that the presenter can only play the music that the server serves up to him/her, and several days' worth of content has already been "programmed" by somebody else who is scheduling mostly what the station has agreed with the record labels what should and shouldn't be played. The last time I heard Magic I thought it was awful.
