Former Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman joins Radio 2 to cover Dermot O Leary show on Saturday 31st January. Interesting choice.

'Edit' Bowman? I think some edithing is required.
I like the music on this show, though just wish Dermot wouldn't speak so quickly. |

Apparently O'Leary has been putting feelers out for a new network TV gig in the event that he's not offered a new X-factory contract by Cowell next month. The show's plummeting ratings and inability to match up to Strictly is prompting rumours that Mr. Smug is about to impose a major reshuffle on the appalling show's tired old format. Bet he keeps the talentless Cheryl Whatever-She's-Called-Now.
I was listening to early-morning LBC radio today and was amused at the way the presenter was referring to him as "Dermot O'Dreary". I couldn't agree more - very O'Dreary indeed! |

That must have been Steve Allen. |
