Errol Brown has died aged 71.

More sad news from the world of music..I wouldn't have put him in his seventies.

Always liked Hot Chocolate and he was a great frontman for them, with a great voice.

It Started With A Kiss is a record that I never tire of hearing.

Sad news. I too was surprised to learn his age.

Certainly a sad loss but I'm fed up of almost every media outlet attempting to represent his life based on a single track namely 'You Sexy Thing'

Quite frankly it was mediocre to say the least and he produced a lot better output during his long career most of which hardly ever gets played on radio these days

I'm thinking of tracks like 'Emma' and 'What Kind Of Boy you're Looking For Girl' just to mention a couple of very many Smile

I agree completely Ruddles. The BBC news yesterday showed nothing but that dreadful song over and over. It's banal rubbish.

Brother Louie was my favourite and Emma was good.

RIP Errol.

This is very sad news, I have always liked Hot Chocolate...........we are losing too many people at the moment, or so it seems. R.I.P. Errol.
