Sadly yet another passing to report -that of sixties/seventies country star Lynn Anderson
I'm by no means a fan of country music but her most well known track 'Rose Garden' has to rank as a classic track of it's era and I'm fairly sure I'm right in saying that as the ultimate form of flattery it was sampled many years later - I can't recall by who
She was only 67 and that's an indecently young age for anyone to pass away just as I said in the case of Twinkle -it's really sad to see so many former stars biting the dust long before their time _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Without resorting to on line web sites wasn't the sample by Eidleweiss as part of that track 'You Don't Bring Me Eidleweiss' in which they also sampled the track SOS by Abba?
I might be wrong but from a gut feeling at the back of my brain - yes my body is totally out of shape - I vaguely recollect that fact - but as a regular music presenter I should know this and it's really annoying me _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |
