I'll certainly give a listen to Mark Goodier and Sara Cox if I'm not otherwise occupied - and as for TB - really he's an institution isn't he Smile - perhaps by now he should be in one with all those dreadful jokes Laughing

I'll listen to Sara Cox & Mark Goodier on New Year's day if the weather is too bad to be amongst aircraft, as it has been for the last two new years!!
I don't mind Tony Blackburn, but there's only so much soul music I can take, I'll probably watch Jools Holland's Hootenany as I usually do.

Heard a trailer for Kylie's show last night. Apparently she's going to be playing her favourite Christmas songs including such rarities as Mary's Boy Child by Boney M and Last Christmas by Wham and songs from her new festive album. Could Band Aid and Paul McCartney be far behind? Sheesh.

It's alright, though. If you don't fancy listening to Kylie's exclusive special show on Radio 2 on Christmas Day afternoon, tune in to Heart FM on Christmas Day afternoon where, er, Kylie Minogue will be playing her favourite Christmas songs including such rarities as Mary's Boy Child by Boney M and Last Christmas by Wham and songs from her new festive album!

Very Happy Very Happy Yes, I suppose it reflects the dreadful lack of originality shown by daytime Radio 2 and ghastly Heart.

I read the other day that she has a new bakery programme coming out in the New Year. I like Mary Berry but like other people who capture the public imagination the BBC milk them for all they're worth. Rolling Eyes

She popped up on Strictly the other night...I half expected her to give out one of the awards out on SPOTY. Wink

Less is more BBC!

It has a terrible cover of Gabrielle Cilmi's 'I'm Gonna Be Warm This Christmas' on it and I expect the rest of it to be equally bad..........

I heard she has a new programme out next year too. Must admit I enjoy watching her cookery shows and her recipe's are good and she goes for simplest method most of the time which is my style! I'm not a foodie though!

Don't know if you have tried her Salad Dressing (Tesco's sell it and others too) it's gorgeous. It used to be called 'Mary Berry and Daughter' but I think it's just Mary Berry now. We discovered it at a tasting stand at the Tatton Park flower show (the very first one I think) where her daughter was on the stand selling it!

I do like her,Helen and am a fan of TGBBO but once the BBC get a hit on their hands they try to shoe-horn the people who have made it a success into all manner of things.Rolling Eyes

I haven't tried her salad dressing but will have a look for it next time I'm in the supermarket...thanks!

It's not the cheapest around but it is very nice on a green salad. There is a small jar available and a low fat version which is good too.

This programme, with Dame Barbara Windsor, sounded interesting but on listening to it found it didn't do what it said on the 'tin' I hadn't heard half of these so called 'hits' from misses. For me a disappointing listen. Sad
