A really sad day for all true 'Ronnies' fans
He was such a talented and versatile entertainer and I loved his character in that great series 'Sorry' as well as everything else he did going all the way back to the early days of 'The Frost Report'
Am I the only one to be thinking that whenever his funeral takes place there are certain items which simply have to be present as the ultimate tribute - fork handles
I'm sure the great little man would love it _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Very sad to hear of his death. I remember that famous sketch with John Cleese and the 2 Ronnies from The Frost Report all those years ago.

So sad to hear the news yesterday, not many of the old generation left now.
Here is one of my favourite Two Ronnies sketches.

Yes, It's been quite a few months for losing the people I've grown up watching on tv. Ed Stewart, Sir Terry Wogan, David Bowie & now Ronnie Corbett, who, no doubt is now making them all laugh 'upstairs'! I used to enjoy the two gardners by the allotment shed sketches on The Two Ronnies. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I have just watched The Two Ronnie's Sketchbook on BBC 1 and chuckled all the way through.... this used to happen on a regular basis when they graced our screens every week.
So sad that they have both gone now.
I used to love Ronnie as Timothy in Sorry...in fact I loved him in everything he appeared in.
I read that he and his wife have not long celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary ...nice that they could enjoy that before his passing.
