Billy Fury is featured in an hour long show starting at 10pm BBC4 this Friday 22 April.
I liked his records but don't know very much about him.

About a year ago I actually met his grand daughter who is a PA for a large company based on an industrial estate in Birkenhead
When she told me her name was Wycherley I thought that there had to be some connection with the great man - and it turned out I was right
We chatted for nearly an hour although her memories were only faint and sketchy as she was very young at the time before he sadly passed away

Haven't seen this yet but have recorded it.
Thoroughly enjoyed the programme about The Everlys that was on earlier in the evening.
And dare I say,Helen,I also enjoyed (if that is the right word in the circumstances) the programme about Prince that made the Billy Fury programme late.  |
