Today is the day which I and most other Liverpool fans never thought they would see - at last if rather too late an element of justice for those poor families of the victims of a disaster entirely caused by the incompetence of the South Yorkshire Police and other public officials

I really hope that the CPS does now bring charges including one of perverting the course of justice against Mr Duckenfield and the other disgusting people who right up to the end continued to tell a pack of lies in order to protect their own skins

Today is a great day not just for Liverpool Football Club and the bereaved families but for all of us because for once the corruption of the powers that be has been exposed on a very large scale

I just hope that it might make the British public question many of the other lies that have been told in other cases by the authorities supported by our corrupt British press but for now I guess at least it's a step in the right direction

I am full of admiration for the families of the 96 victims. They have kept going in their quest for the truth in the face of much adversity. Being in the North this inquest has been covered extensively on our local news and listening to reports I didn't see how any other outcome was possible..
I remember when David Duckenfield admitted he had lied and from then on I thought there could only be one way for the jury to cast their vote for these brave families. And as the answers to the questions, that the judge had asked the jury, were read out today I cheered and cried in equal measure.

Watching the singing of You'll Never Walk Alone, outside of the court was a truly uplifting moment

Accountability is the next step in the journey for these families.

Glad to hear that some justice has been done, I'm not a Labour supporter but Andy Burnham should be proud of himself for getting off his bum and and doing something.

Heartbreaking for all the families who lost people I know but every time I see Trevor Hicks in particular it really gets to me. That poor man, you can see the pain on his face. Crying or Very sad
