I don't know about you sometimes I have some strange dreams. Some come true and some don't.
I had a dream Ken Bruce took over Capital Radio ( London ) drivetime show.
It's only a dream.......... Thanks for letting me share it with you.
Have you had dreams which are strange? |

Well, I did actually have a dream that I came onto this board only to find that there were none of your posts here at all! Dread the thought Mark!!!!
It's OK - I woke up and smelled the coffee of reality!

I love having dreams, I wish we could take a dream pill sometimes!
When I was young, I remember dreaming that I could fly which was great and, that the night sky was filled with large planets such as Saturn.
Nowadays, I dream mostly about old girlfriends, my best mate who passed away at 40 (STOP SMOKING!) and strangely, my old boss!
Sometimes, about my wife leaving me too.....( she hasn't by the way.. )
I wonder if there's a pattern there...

I don't normally remember my dreams but last night I dreamt that Stephen King (author) had died
Goodness knows what that means, hopefully he is alright! |

I know I've mentioned on here before about when Richard Allinson's then Saturday afternoon show came from a Yorkshire shopping centre about 4 or 5 years ago, well it was webcast and, of course I was watching it as well as listening. I don't think I had had the internet for that long at the time, so it was still fairly new & exciting etc! Well this (at least I believe it was this) led to a dream a day or so later that Richard Allinson was doing a similar outside broadcast of his show near to where I live and I was trying to get him to play Neil Young's 'Rockin In The Free World' because I had missed it a couple of times on Bob Harris' Saturday-into-Sunday show. Whilst I have heard the Neil Young song on Radio 2 plenty of times since then (Including Bob's show. Thank heavens they've invented 'listen Again' since those days!) I don't think I've heard Richard play it and I've never met the man himself in real life. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I still have vivid memories of I dream I had when I was a teenager. Sid James and me were in my Sisters bedroom (leave it!!) which looked onto the front of the house and we were hiding from Nazi's!!!
I hid under the bed sheet but I remember seeing Nazi's come in and do a search and I saw it all - it was like the bedshhet was seethrough.

Most of my dreams involve music or night clubs or work.
Some drift from one to the other.
Another was about a railway station that when you went inside was like a hotel and i kept getting lost.

Hi
I once dreamt that I rescued a puppy from a man that was ill treating it. I picked it up and told the bloke that he wasn't fit to have a puppy and that I was going to take it home and look after it properly. I walked off with the puppy in my arms but I couldn't find my way home.
Analyse that one... _________________ treasure

Another dream/nightmare I have quite often is owning a large property which is very nice but one wing of it is completely derelict, missing floors and walls up to the roof... all a bit worrying (and slightly true in a way!)
I also often dream of buying the house we lived in when I was a kid. I have very fond memories of the house so it's not surprising really.
I reckon we'll be able to programme our dreams in the future... |

I once had a dream where Alfred Hitchcock had big teeth and he was chasing me with a roll of cling film. _________________ Eternal nothingness is fine if you happen to be dressed for it. |

Flying television sets killing everyone in the streets - I used to watch things like Quatermass (the 1979 version), Survivors and the original b&w Outer Limits (was allowed to stay up beyond midnight to watch it on Friday nights on BBC2 when I was a child) - so usually had a fairly rampant imagination!
(Nowadays, I've bought the '79 Quatermass, the original BBC b&w Quatermass series' and both boxed sets of the original Outer Limits on DVD, and have Survivors on video. They're not so scary now, but when you were nine.... ) _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
