Although it's sad news that John has died,just hearing his name made me smile....he was that sort of person.
His "Get down Shep" will be remembered forever.
R.I.P John.

Sad news, but poor John had been suffering from the dreaded Alzheimer's for a long time.
Again, beating the same old drum, how lucky we were, to be watching Blue Peter in the glory days of "Val, Pete and I", as he used to say, so many times. Treasured memories of watching him get up to all sorts of stunts and the occasional mishap. I absolutely adored the man.
And he did not like Biddy Baxter one bit...

A really sad loss but probably a merciful release - I grew up watching Blue Peter in those days and he was a true star _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |
