It's just been announced on the news that Sir Bruce forsyth has died. What a great loss he will now be. I've grown up watching him on TV.

Very sad news LEE.

Beat the Clock was the first time I saw him on TV. I was allowed to stay up until that part of Sunday Night At The Palladium had been on during term time.

He was a very talented man.

RIP

H

Some of my earliest memories are of sitting on the floor in the front room, after a bath, on Sunday nights, eating beef sandwiches, leftover from the Sunday joint and watching Brucie at the Palladium.

What a career that man has had. Without a doubt, the greatest TV entertainer this country has ever produced.

So many terrific TV memories of him. Joshing with the contestants on Beat the Clock and the Generation Game, his absolutely great performance with Norman Wisdom in their two-hander Palladium show, making Paul Merton starry eyed when he took over that edition of Have I Got News For You, etc etc.

RIP Sir Brucie.

Everything that could have been said about his great career has been said over the last few days and quite rightly

We'll never see the likes of him again

A truly great star of television over more than half a century - he certainly was in charge Smile
