I wasn't really into Steely Dan in the 70s but love them now and can't stop playing their Greatest Hits CD.
Best songs: My Old School, Doctor Wu, Showbiz Kids, and Black Friday. |

There used to be a poster (who I'm sure some on here will remember) on the Radio 2 board called Dr Wu. He was a Steely Dan fan..I now know why he called himself that..
I like some of their songs but can't say I would have known Walter's name in isolation. (I knew,on the other hand, that,Donald Fagen was in Steely Dan)
67 is young these days so this must be very sad news for his loved ones.

I do remember a two part documentary that Radio 2 put out about Steely Dan in the late 1990s. It was narrated by Richard Allinson with inserts from interviews with the duo. This was aired about the time that their album Two Against Nature came out, with 'Cousin Dupree' as the single from it. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |
