Monday nights BBC2. I really enjoyed seeing these two highly intelligent chaps travelling round the UK looking at and discussing various British scientific inventions. They were opposing captains on University Challenge last year and were quite a hit. They don't try to be "characters" but are themselves with a thirst for learning stuff, talking about it and allowing us to learn too. |

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. It's good to see that putting intelligent people asking smart questions and learning things gets a sizeable audience. |

A delightful programme,Eileen. Such a change to see accidental celebrities from a TV programme who are able to string more than two words together. A lot more than two actually.
And they started in Blackpool! |
