A few new series begin today so thought I'd post a 'heads up' as a reminder.

Great British Rail Journeys Michael Portillo BBC2 6.30 PM (I think) 15 episodes.

Midsomer Murders ITV1 8.30

Uni Challenge BBC2 8.30

Silent Witness Tuesday and Wednesday 9.00pm

Love It Or List It Channel 4 Wednesday 8pm

Cold Feet Jan 13

Vera not sure but maybe Sunday 12th?

Feel free to add any others!

H

Death in Paradise on Thursday night at 9pm. Love that show - I've even read the books!

Top of the Pops repeats from 1989 - my era - start on BBC Four this Friday

Uni Challenge isn't new...it's two-thirds through. But still irresistible.

Dunno if anyone watched Guilt. I can safely say that it was probably the best thing I watched all year. Four part series and the first one expires at midnight. The writing and acting were sublime.

Go on, watch it. You know it makes sense. It's brilliant.

Sorry should have put series resume for Uni as they paused it for the Christmas ones!

Didn't fancy Guilt at the time Raver!

Grantchester returns tonight and despite losing one of the lead characters it continues to appeal - to me.

I'm also watching the Christine Keeler drama and the White House Farm series. The horror of what Jeremy Bamber did is difficult, even after all these years, to take in.

The lead actor who left Grantchester (James Norton) is playing Stephen Ward in the Keeler drama.

I assumed that Death in Paradise was a made for TV programme,Ian. Didn't know it was adapted from books. Last night's opener had me jumping at the start with that masked figure. Shocked Don't expect that from Death in Paradise.

Yeah, it was a bit gruesome but then same old fun. The books came after the TV series - basically mysteries that the writer has come up with but couldn't do on telly for budget or location reasons.
