He has died aged 81. He wrote and sang some wonderful songs - "Lovely Day" and "Just the Two of Us" hold special meaning for me, but he also wrote so many others like "Lean on Me" and "Ain't No Sunshine".

He composed and sang some lovely songs,Eileen - songs that will endure.
