Not strictly TV but....

2 crackers Wink on the iPlayer

After The Valhalla Murders finished last night on BBC 4 the continuity announcer said that the final series of Spiral is coming in January. In the meantime all the previous series are up on the iPlayer.

Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Also up on the iPlayer:

Dickensian.

Scrooge meets Fagin meets Miss Havisham in a riotous mix of Dickens' most loved characters - their lives intertwined on one mysterious street, and in the murder of Jacob Marley.

I seem to remember Eileen liking this (???) when it was discussed on the old BBC boards

It ended after one series much to the disappointment of it's fans.

Yes, I've not watched any of Spiral so will be bingeing on that soon.

As for Dickensian - an absolutely wonderful series, criminally overlooked. Loads of great performances but Sophie Rundle is amazing in the episode where her character Honoria goes into labour. Sadly it was episode 16 so only the die-hard fans were still watching at that point.
