So the suits shut the old message boards as they apparently were only catering for a minority, then set up a Bob Dylan board, which surely caters for a, erm, minority..... in the words of Private Eye, shurely shome mishtake? (Can't find an emoticon for scratching one's head so Question will have to do...)

Nope. That's why it's even more ridiculous!

After a week on Radio 2, his show will be moving to 6Music. The new MB is nothing but half-baked publicity to get everyone talking about it.

'The new MB is nothing but half-baked'

I think you are being over generous if you are claiming half of it's ok Wink

Have you seen the subjects on the Bob Dylan MB?

He's a miserable so-and-so

Donovan was better

He can't sing very well.

Worst concert ever..

So, going well then! Laughing

I liked the one titled 'Just look at that picture' and the first posting - "Isn't that a face that is just crying out to have a custard pie thrown at it?" Very Happy

John - let's have a poll for how long the Beeb keep this mockery going....

Well, they shut that thread down almost immediately. Sense of humour by-pass and all that.

Most of the rest have been negative as well. He may well sound a miserable old git but the shows have been well received in the States and the playlists look good.

Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against the show itself per se (especially since I've not heard it yet) but my gripe (you've got me doing it now, John!) is about the inclusion of a dedicated MB when they've just shut the other ones down for being too narrow in scope.

I suppose the message boards will be rotated as to when specialist shows like Bob Dylans' are aired on the network?
