Thank you for the Alan Titchmarsh link, Becky. Looking forward to listening to them. I too have bookmarked the link.

Listened to one of Alan's programmes this morning. An utterly delightful listen. A crying shame he was taken off Radio 2. Crying or Very sad

Yesterday it was sitting outside in the sun enjoying a few beers in nice warm sunny weather. How different was today, like two opposite seasons in 24 hours Shocked

Robins are cheering my days on a daily basis just lately - some are nesting in my back garden and seeing them take the food, I put out for them, to their little ones is a joy to watch. Very Happy

Have seen this before but it never fails to make me laugh

The little girl singing her heart out in this video is now 29 and a lawyer.

She was on Radio 4's Today programme this morning explaining why she projected her voice so much...

Her Mother had told her to sing loud because she would be sat at the back of the church and wanted to be able to hear her.

Still smiling about this today when I look at my Easter cards.

Out in the lovely Astley Park in Chorley, on Sunday, 2 little girls (no more than 2or 3) ran up to us and handed a couple of homemade Easter cards out to us saying Happy Easter at the same time. I was one of the fortunate ones who received a card

It was such a lovely moment and it left us all with broad smiles on our faces. Very Happy

(They were accompanied by grown ups) Wink

This made me happy today - switching on the nest box camera and seeing mummy blue tit busy incubating. Then she left for a while so that I could photograph her eggs via the TV screen. She has laid 12.

How lovely to get an Easter card from the little girls Becky! I would be smiling as well for several days.

The reaction from Alistair Chalmers after winning his bronze medal for Guernsey (their first ever in track and field in the Commonwealth Games) in the 400m hurdles has got me smiling tonight. Very Happy

It was lovely to see Guernsey get it's first ever medal. Really enjoyed the Commonwealth Games. I prefer them to the Olympics in many ways.

I also really enjoyed watching Emily Campbell in the Women's Weightlifting.

This had me laughing this afternoon re Emergency Alert Test .

A friend on Facebook.....

'No emergency alarm for me, can someone knock on my door please if there’s an apocalypse?'

😂😂

I was in need of cheer after the Newcastle/Spurs result.

☹️☹️

(I didn't get the alert either)

The blue tits raised 7 healthy chicks this year in the camera nest box. There were 10 eggs, one didn't hatch and the other 2 did hatch but the chicks didn't survive.

Hatching took place on Coronation night and they stayed in the box for the full 21 days before fledging.

How lovely,Eileen.

I have a couple of bird boxes and saw a couple of blue tits in and out of one of them for weeks. They have stopped now but whether they have hatched any eggs I couldn't tell you. I still derived a lot of enjoyment watching them. They were in and out within a minute or so all of the time.😊
