JV talking to 100 year old man about the old fella's ringing of the chuch bells for the last 85 years......

"Do you enjoy it?"

I nearly pee'd myself laughing!

Actually Jezza, I reckon the old lad's spent the last 8 decades going, "Ruddy bells... ding dong ding dong, same tune every week- if things don't change in the next 120 years I'm off to buy a Fender Stratocaster!" Laughing

It was one of those things you just about catch... I couldn't believe he'd asked such a stupid question Shocked

After 85 years Jezza, I think the guy might be a bit of a fan of bell-ringing Laughing

Is it true that Tim is actually Jeremy's brother, or is that just an urban myth? I've heard it from several reputable sources, but I'm still not sure!

Maybe he only got into bell ringing to get his foot on the ladder.

GF,

It must be a long apprenticeship then Laughing

Tim is officially Jezza's brother. JV was at the Fame Academy show a few nights back, I believe.

Yep, Jeremy was there on Tim's first night. Their sister was there a few nights later and she was surprisingly attractive. I'm gutted that Tim was voted out though Sad

Ian,

I thought Tim was the most entertaining of the whole lot... not the best singer, but he really threw himself into the whole performance package- highly entertaining!

Yeah, same here. I saw his live show in Edinburgh the other year and he was great. He just wants to entertain.

Talk of silly questions asked by journalists reminds me of that old joke--apart from that, Mrs Lincoln, did you enjoy the show?

Ian.

Or Mrs Mertons question to Debbie McGee... "and what was it that attracted you to multi millionaire Paul Daniels?". I wish Caroline Aherne was around more these days.

Here is a question for folks:

What was the name of the play Lincoln was watching when he was assassinated?

Not quite. I'd love to say it was Death of a Salesman but it was actually a play called "Our American Cousin" Its about the introduction of a boorish American to his aristocratic English relatives.
