Hi,

A colleague has been listening to an (incomplete) tape of a Jimmy Young show, maybe from about 10 years ago, and really wants to know the name of this artiste and tune featured on the tape:

The clip is about 2megs. It might be called I Won't Shelter From the Wind

Can you help ?

Despite posting here and at R2MB I have still not got an ID on the artiste singing this song.

If the producer is still around I could ask him, anyone know who was Jimmy Young's producer mid-late 1990's?

Hi John,

I googled some of the lyrics but all I found was another forum where someone was looking for the details of the same track with no luck ..... Smile.... Sounds american to me... someone like Patty Griffen or Emmylou Harris. But that's no help really.

Hello John,
Here's a site that may be of use.
http://www.allmusic.com/
Hope it helps.

Alas, for once allmusic has drawn a blank, so has googling - I think several of us have all tried all combinations (and variations) of the words. Someone thought it might be Ira Caplan, but it can't be him; someone else suggested All About Eve - close but no cigar.

That's a shame. The question of Jimmy Young's producer came up earlier, so I guess one possible person to ask is Helen May.
Helen, Can you remember who JY's producer was, or perhaps even idenify the tune?
