Thought it was only right that Robbie should get a mention. I've only this second found out, thanks to Johnnie Walker's tweet.

I am so sorry to hear that the 'Admiral' Robbie Dale has passed away. I was a devoted listener to Radio Caroline as it went into illegality and I used to write to him. R.I.P. Robbie and thank you for the music.

I'm sure that the letters that you and others sent to Robbie and Johnnie during those times, were so appreciated and helped in no small way, Angela.

I've read some stuff on Robbie since I learned of his passing and he was held in such esteem, especially in Ireland, for his work over there. Quite something.
