The full-time replacement on The Early Breakfast Show is... Owain Wyn Evans. The first daily Radio 2 show to be broadcast from Cardiff, starting in January.

Crazy that Vanessa Feltz left after 11 years and no-one really noticed or cared.

I had to google...didn't know that was the drummer boy's name. He's ideal for the job, I'd have thought.

He announced he was leaving North West Tonight the night before last but didn't say what he was doing next, only that he was very excited.

I'll miss his dress style!

Perhaps he could tell listeners what he's wearing. Wink

I'll miss our weatherman too Becky, although I knew that he wouldn't be hanging around for long after his Children In Need thing last year.

Yes Helen - his personality always seemed a little too big to remain just as a weather forecaster when he took over from the lovely Dianne Oxberrry. Sad

He wasn't just your average weatherman.

I'm sure he'll do well in his new job.
