For those who have missed him......... Alex will be back on Monday, returning triumphantly, like the Salmon of Capistrano  Those of us who are lost without him  , will once again feel at one with the world.....
Alex Lester, breathing life, into the early hours- Mon- Fri, 3-6am
Join us, or wither and die while you sleep in your bed. |

It was a close run thing Ernie  ......but after a minor reconfiguration, I managed to temporality suspend my normal sleep exit process, adjust my arrival at work time, so managed( quite successfully) to avoid entirely any audible intrusion from Alex's stand in, although on the grapevine, I'm being told he made, not a bad fist of it this week.
I've just bought a new car...which I'll pick up this afternoon, when I get home...  |

Do you mind if I don't?
I hear he's going away for a whole month, how will you survive?
Oh yes, you can listen to your homemade podcasts. Are you going to make them available for download so we all can 'enjoy' them with a rub?

Did I see you earlier this week?
I don't mind at all, like the advert says... I'm not going to tell you what to do........
He is going away for a whole month, .... June as I understand it....... I've booked myself into rehab for that month, they play tapes of Jonathan Ross constantly - some kind of Radio aversion therapy.... I don't really understand it but it works apparently .. I'm not a Doctor though, so I just go with what they tell me...........
I'm sorry to report that my home-made Godcasts were involved in a disaster of near biblical proportions, only a few of the very early ones remain intact. I guess there is a little time to make some more but the classics, like the best of the Brain Bogglers ( are you ready to boggle?) and the complete Band On the Run series, have been destroyed and lost forever............
I'm not really a techno-freak. so I wouldn't know how to make them available for download but you're just teasing , right?

Was it you I met earlier this week? Two blondes in a Mexican stand-off across the office......It was quite surreal. I'd 've put money on it, that it was you... or you have a double.

It's the show , not the man .......... he's ok (for an aging single short guy with a bulge and in need of haircut ) but I'm more than happy with my hubby........... I just like him ( Alex that is) is all, even when he pretends to ignore me...  ... which he does ... a lot <humph> |

Obsessed!  Me?  No, surely not.
If I were obsessed, I'd be camped out on the mailbox steps every morning, with nothing to keep me warm other than a Slap My Top T-shirt, a lil' pair of Sock Puppets and the thought, that Alex might not sneak out of the back door............ I have a mild interest in the show..... that's all...
I've got Alex's month away, covered quite nicely:) ... week one ... listen again....... easy ... week two/three.... I'll be on holiday....... week 4 ... I can spend moaning about the stand-in ( unless it's Liz Kershaw or Mo Dutta- both fantastic) and looking forward to Alex's return......... ... If you plan your life around the R2 schedule, you'll never be dissapointed.
Oh ... just one more sleep, until Alex is back!! Woohoo! |
