|
|
Two leading UK climate researchers have criticised those among their peers who they say are "overplaying" the global warming message.
Professors Paul Hardaker and Chris Collier, both Royal Meteorological Society figures, are voicing their concern at a conference in Oxford.
They say some researchers make claims about possible future impacts that cannot be justified by the science. The pair believe this damages the credibility of all climate scientists.

At last somebody talks some sense. They dont have a chance of being heard though with Tony & Dave and the massed ranks of the BBC and the press hyping up the scare stories every day. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Remember the ice age? I do think the weather pattern is changing, but that might not be out fault it's just the world is getting larger and being pushed. It's like a cardboard box if it gets heavy it splits? |

The world is the same size that it has always been. Its just that there are billions more humans lving on it than ever before

I dont think this will happen to the planet. The number of humans may decrease to a more sustainable level though. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

How conceited is the human race ??
We actually believe that we can change the forces of nature.
King Canute could not govern the waves and we cannot control the future climate, despite Tony Bliar and Call me Dave , not forgetting Al Gore. _________________ Standing on Ray Moore's shoulders |

Snow & hail in March isn't really that unusual. I think we have been spoiled with the mild winters over the last 10 years.
I managed to catch that controversial Ch4 documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle" last night. Very interesting stuff. It makes you wonder if the climate change debate has been hijacked by people with their own agenda. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I'm convinced of it!
I go along with those who say the human race cannot dictate the course of a planet's weather... pretty convincing stuff on that programme.
I believe the Sun Spot activity theory 100%.
and that low life Brown is going to double my 4x4 road tax? what a con! |
