Another wonderful hour tonight - started off with the Dixie Chicks and featured tracks by Mindy Smith and Nickel Creek (wonderful bluegrass, going to have to add their CDs to my ever-increasing Amazon wish-list).

I don't necessarily follow traditional country so don't really listen to Nick Barraclough's hour but I do like alt-country and bluegrass so Bob's Thursday show is a must.

I did enjoy it, but it makes me laugh how many tracks are off Bob's "album of the year" - that's a bloomin' big album!

There's probably a 'virtual' album and the one IIRC he releases - there's been several over the last few years. The 'proper' albums have lots of good tracks on them - he must have a hell of a job narrowing it down to a manageable number.... Smile

Anyway, I'm not going to criticise someone who voted Anne McCue's "Roll" as his Album of the Year for 2004.... has anyone heard her new release, "Koala Motel", yet? Someone who unfortunately doesn't make the regular playlist....
